Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at johnwayne@orwboards.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Most ORW paddleboards have smaller, flexible side fins and one removable center fin. The smaller fins are only 2.25" tall allowing you to travel through extremely shallow water. Our Bigfoot, Tatanka, and Blitz SUP all come with (4) 2.25" fins.

When in the ocean most surfers wear an ankle leash. When on the River, never wear an ankle leash. There are specific river leashes design with a quick disconnect system to free yourself from your board.

Watch our video on leash options.

Our crew wears thick wetsuits in moderate Ozark winter conditions. We always have a dry bag with warm clothes and extra gear, in case of an emergency.

Our Blitz SUP and Siloam SUP are our two most popular paddleboards for surfing river waves. The Siloam is a shorter length (7'11") and very wide (35 inches) and has a moderate amount of rocker built into the front of the SUP. Our Blitz SUP was designed with an extreme amount of rocker at the front and back of the board. Our Blitz SUP (9'9" X 36") can accommodate any size rider wanting to surf river waves.
