Custom ORW Paddleboards

Ozark River Walkers can build your custom stand-up paddleboard. We use traditional shaping methods coupled with only the highest quality materials, sourced here in the US.  Our custom builds include an EPS foam core or hollow wooden shell wrapped in fiberglass and finished with epoxy. We build anything from racing SUPs to river surfboards. All hardboard orders are handmade at our shop right outside of Springfield, MO.

FARM-TO-WATER BOARDS

 At ORW, we've always been passionate about paddleboarding and committed to protecting the environment. When we founded our local paddleboard company in 2019, our primary focus was creating high-quality inflatable paddleboards. But as time went on, we started pondering how we could take our commitment to sustainability even further. That's when the idea of Farm to Water was born, forever changing the trajectory of our company. 

In 2022, we embarked on a journey to begin crafting paddleboards made from locally sourced native Missouri wood. The concept behind Farm to Water was simple yet profound – to utilize the timber harvested from our owner's farm and breathe new life into it through our paddleboards. This way, we could minimize our environmental impact while creating paddleboards with a truly unique aesthetic. 

As environmental stewards, we consciously decided to source our wood sustainably. We exclusively utilize trees that have fallen during storms or had previously died, ensuring that no live, healthy trees will be harmed in the process. It's a win-win for both our customers and the environment. 

One of the most remarkable aspects is the beauty and authenticity of the paddleboards we create. Each board tells a story, showcasing the Missouri wood's natural grain patterns and unique characteristics. From the rich hues of walnut to the striking textures of oak, every paddleboard we produce is a work of art that embodies the spirit of the land it came from. 

In addition to sustainability, we prioritize craftsmanship and quality in every aspect of our paddleboard production. Each board is carefully crafted, sanded, and finished to ensure a smooth, durable surface gliding effortlessly through the water.
